Transliteration

vyāsa uvāca | ekadā śṛṇu rājeṃdra yajjātaṃ daityasaṃgare | tatsarvaṃ kathayāmyāśu yathāvṛttaṃ hi tatpurā

Translation

വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജേന്ദ്രാ, ദൈത്യസംഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ സംഭവിച്ചതിനെ കേൾക്കുക; അത് എല്ലാം ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ, പണ്ടെ നടന്നതുപോലെ യഥാവൃത്തമായി പറയാം।
