Transliteration

bāṃdhaveṣu ciraṃ vāso na nārīṇāṃ yaśaskaraḥ | manoratho bāṃdhavānāṃ bhāryā pitṛgṛhe sthitā

Translation

സ്വബന്ധുക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ദീർഘകാലം താമസിക്കുന്നത് വിവാഹിതയായ സ്ത്രീയ്ക്ക് യശസ്സു വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതല്ല. പിതൃഗൃഹത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന ഭാര്യ ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷയായി മാറുന്നു.
