श्रीमाताद्यास्तदा देव्यः कोपिता राक्षसेन वै । घातयंत्येव शब्देन तर्जयित्वा च राक्षसम्
śrīmātādyāstadā devyaḥ kopitā rākṣasena vai | ghātayaṃtyeva śabdena tarjayitvā ca rākṣasam
അപ്പോൾ ശ്രീമാതാ മുതലായ ദേവിമാർ ആ രാക്ഷസനാൽ അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധരായി. ഇടിമുഴക്കമെന്നപോലെ ഉച്ചധ്വനി ഉയർത്തി അവനെ താക്കീത് ചെയ്ത്, അവനെ വധിക്കുമെന്നപോലെ ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി.
