नारद उवाच । कीदृशी तत्कथा मे तां प्रशंस भवता श्रुताम् । कथां यम महाबाहो श्रोतुकामोस्म्यहं च ताम्

നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭവാൻ ശ്രവിച്ചു പ്രശംസിക്കുന്ന ആ കഥ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളതാണ്? ഹേ മഹാബാഹു യമാ, ഞാനും അതേ കഥ കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
