तस्मादपींद्रसेनाख्यस्तस्य पुत्रो महाबलः । चंद्रांगदोस्मि नाम्नाहं नवोढः श्वशुरालये । विहरन्यमुनातोये निमग्नो देवचोदितः
tasmādapīṃdrasenākhyastasya putro mahābalaḥ | caṃdrāṃgadosmi nāmnāhaṃ navoḍhaḥ śvaśurālaye | viharanyamunātoye nimagno devacoditaḥ
“അവനിൽ നിന്ന് ഇന്ദ്രസേനൻ എന്ന മഹാബലവാനായ പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു. ഞാൻ അവന്റെ പുത്രൻ—എന്റെ പേര് ചന്ദ്രാംഗദൻ. പുതുവിവാഹിതനായി ശ്വശുരാലയത്തിൽ കഴിയുമ്പോൾ, യമുനാജലത്തിൽ വിഹരിക്കവെ ദൈവചോദനയാൽ ഞാൻ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയി।”
