devasya purataḥ samyagupalipya navāṃbhasā | vidhāya maṃḍalaṃ ramyaṃ dhautavastrādibhirbudhaḥ

Translation

ദേവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സ്ഥലം പുതുജലത്തോടെ നന്നായി ലേപിച്ച് ശുദ്ധമാക്കി, ബുദ്ധിമാൻ ഭക്തൻ ധോതവസ്ത്രാദി ശുദ്ധ ഉപകരണങ്ങളാൽ മനോഹരമായ മണ്ഡലം ഒരുക്കണം।
