saṃkalpaṃ pravadettatra pūjāraṃbhe samāhitaḥ | kṛtāṃjalipuṭo bhūtvā ciṃtayeddhṛdi śaṃkaram

പൂജാരംഭത്തിൽ ഏകാഗ്രനായി അവിടെ സങ്കൽപം ഉച്ചരിക്കണം. തുടർന്ന് കയ്യൊപ്പി ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ശങ്കരനെ ധ്യാനിക്കണം।
