स तथैव महीपालो विसृज्य शिवपूजनम् । असमाप्तात्मनियमश्चकार निशि भोजनम्

sa tathaiva mahīpālo visṛjya śivapūjanam | asamāptātmaniyamaścakāra niśi bhojanam

ഇങ്ങനെ ആ രാജാവ് ശിവാരാധന ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, ആത്മനിയമം പൂർത്തിയാകാതിരിക്കെ തന്നെ, രാത്രിയിൽ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചു।
