श्रुत्वा तमुत्कटं शब्दं राजा त्यक्तशिवार्चनः । निर्ययौ राजभवनान्नगरक्षोभशंकया
śrutvā tamutkaṭaṃ śabdaṃ rājā tyaktaśivārcanaḥ | niryayau rājabhavanānnagarakṣobhaśaṃkayā
ആ ഭയങ്കരമായ ശബ്ദം കേട്ട് രാജാവ് ശിവാരാധന ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് നഗരത്തിൽ കലാപം ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന ആശങ്കയിൽ രാജമന്ദിരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പുറത്തേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു।
