सा प्रणम्य सभामध्ये पर्यपृच्छत्सविस्मया । ब्रह्मन्नेषोर्भको नीतो मया भिक्षोर्गिरा गृहम्
sā praṇamya sabhāmadhye paryapṛcchatsavismayā | brahmanneṣorbhako nīto mayā bhikṣorgirā gṛham
അവൾ സഭാമദ്ധ്യേ നമസ്കരിച്ചു വിസ്മയത്തോടെ ചോദിച്ചു—“ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ! ഒരു ഭിക്ഷുക്കന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം ഞാൻ ഈ കുഞ്ഞിനെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.”
