त्रयोदश्यां तिथौ सायं प्रदोषः परिकीर्त्तितः । तत्र पूज्यो महादेवो नान्यो देवः फलार्थिभिः
trayodaśyāṃ tithau sāyaṃ pradoṣaḥ parikīrttitaḥ | tatra pūjyo mahādevo nānyo devaḥ phalārthibhiḥ
ത്രയോദശി തിഥിയിലെ സായാഹ്നകാലം ‘പ്രദോഷം’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. ആ സമയത്ത് ഫലം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ മഹാദേവനെയേ പൂജിക്കണം; മറ്റുദേവനെ അല്ല।
