तं दृष्ट्वा प्रेमनिर्विण्णा पुलकांकितविग्रहा । निरुद्धबाष्पप्रसरा तस्थौ तन्न्यस्तलोचना
taṃ dṛṣṭvā premanirviṇṇā pulakāṃkitavigrahā | niruddhabāṣpaprasarā tasthau tannyastalocanā
അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൾ പ്രേമവശയായി വിഹ്വലമായി; ശരീരം രോമാഞ്ചിതമായി; കണ്ണീരൊഴുക്ക് തടഞ്ഞ്, കണ്ണുകൾ അവനിൽ തന്നെ പതിപ്പിച്ച് അവൾ നിന്നു।
