देव्युवाच । प्रीतास्मि ते मुनिश्रेष्ठ वत्से प्रीतास्मि तेऽनघे । किं वा ददाम्यभिमतं देवानामपि दुर्लभम्
devyuvāca | prītāsmi te muniśreṣṭha vatse prītāsmi te'naghe | kiṃ vā dadāmyabhimataṃ devānāmapi durlabham
ദേവി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ പ്രസന്നയാണ്; വത്സേ, ഹേ അനഘേ, നിന്നിലും ഞാൻ പ്രസന്നയാണ്. ദേവന്മാർക്കും ദുർലഭമായ നിനക്കിഷ്ടമുള്ള ഏതു വരം ഞാൻ നൽകട്ടെ?
