तस्मिन्मृते कृतोद्वाहे सहसा तस्य बांधवाः । चुक्रुशुः शोकसंतप्तौ श्वशुरावस्य कन्यका
tasminmṛte kṛtodvāhe sahasā tasya bāṃdhavāḥ | cukruśuḥ śokasaṃtaptau śvaśurāvasya kanyakā
വിവാഹം ഇപ്പൊഴേ കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കെ അവൻ പെട്ടെന്ന് മരിച്ചു; അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കൾ ശോകത്തിൽ കത്തിയുണർന്ന് നിലവിളിച്ചു, ശ്വശുരനും നവവധുവും ദുഃഖാഗ്നിയിൽ ദഗ്ധരായി।
