इत्थं निशम्य माहात्म्यं भस्मनो ब्रह्मराक्षसः । विस्तरेण पुनः श्रोतु मौत्कंठ्यादित्यभाषत
itthaṃ niśamya māhātmyaṃ bhasmano brahmarākṣasaḥ | vistareṇa punaḥ śrotu mautkaṃṭhyādityabhāṣata
ഇങ്ങനെ ഭസ്മത്തിന്റെ മഹാത്മ്യം കേട്ട ബ്രഹ്മരാക്ഷസൻ ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ വീണ്ടും പറഞ്ഞു—“ഇത് കൂടുതൽ വിശദമായി കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.”
