bhaja vatsa satāṃ mārgaṃ sadeva caritaṃ cara | na devājñāṃ vilaṃghethā mā kārṣīrdevahelanam

Translation

വത്സാ! സജ്ജന്മാരുടെ മാർഗം ആശ്രയിച്ച് ദേവോചിതമായി ചരിക്ക. ദേവാജ്ഞ ലംഘിക്കരുത്; ദേവന്മാരെ അവഹേളിക്കരുത്.
