तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य मत्वा स्वं पुण्यमूर्जितम् । सा वेश्या स च विप्रश्च पर्यपूजयतामुभौ
tamāgatamabhiprekṣya matvā svaṃ puṇyamūrjitam | sā veśyā sa ca vipraśca paryapūjayatāmubhau
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വരവ് കണ്ടു, ‘ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുണ്യം ബലപ്പെട്ടു’ എന്നു കരുതി, ആ വേശ്യയും ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണനും—ഇരുവരും—ഭക്തിയോടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പൂജിച്ച് ആദരിച്ചു.
