गुणैर्भूतानि सृज्यंते भ्राम्यंते निजकर्मभिः । कालेनाथ विकृष्यंते वासनायां च शेरते

Transliteration

guṇairbhūtāni sṛjyaṃte bhrāmyaṃte nijakarmabhiḥ | kālenātha vikṛṣyaṃte vāsanāyāṃ ca śerate

Translation

ഗുണങ്ങളാൽ ജീവികൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, സ്വന്തം കർമങ്ങളാൽ അലഞ്ഞുതിരിയുന്നു; പിന്നെ കാലം അവരെ വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു, അവർ വാസനകളിൽ ബന്ധിതരായി കിടക്കുന്നു.
