ते दग्धपक्षाः क्रोशंतो निपतंतो महीतले । भस्मीभूतास्ततः सर्वे दृश्यंते स्म सहस्रशः

te dagdhapakṣāḥ krośaṃto nipataṃto mahītale | bhasmībhūtāstataḥ sarve dṛśyaṃte sma sahasraśaḥ

അവരുടെ ചിറകുകൾ ദഗ്ധമായി; അവർ നിലവിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു. പിന്നെ അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഭസ്മമായി—ആയിരങ്ങളായി കാണപ്പെട്ടു.
