Transliterationyád dharíṇo yavám átti ná púṣṭaṃ paśú́ mányate | śūdrā́ yád aryá-jārā́ ná póṣāya dhanāyati ||
Translationമാൻ യവം തിന്നുമ്പോൾ, പുഷ്ടമായ പശുവിനെ (തന്നേതെന്ന്) കരുതുന്നില്ല. അതുപോലെ ശൂദ്രർ, ആര്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ ജാരന്മാരായാൽ, പോഷണത്തിനല്ല, ധനത്തിനായി ലാലസപ്പെടുന്നു.
