Transliteration
sī́rā yuñjanti kaváyo yugā́ ví tanvate pṛ́thak | dhī́rā devéṣu sumnáyā
Translation
കവികൾ (ജ്ഞാനികൾ) ഉഴവുപലകകൾ (സീറ) യോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; യുഗങ്ങളെ ക്രമബദ്ധമായ വരികളായി വേർതിരിച്ച് വിരിക്കുന്നു. ധീരർ ദേവന്മാരിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സുമ്ന (കൃപ)യ്ക്കായി (ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു).
