इत्युक्तं गिरिजाग्रे हि शिवेन परमात्मना । भस्मरूद्रा क्षमाहात्म्यं भुक्तिमुक्तिफलप्रदम्

ഇങ്ങനെ പരമാത്മാവായ ശിവൻ ഗിരിജയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭസ്മം, രുദ്രാക്ഷം, ക്ഷമ എന്നിവയുടെ മഹാത്മ്യം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അത് ഭുക്തിയും മുക്തിയും എന്ന ഇരുവിധ ഫലവും നൽകുന്നതാണ്.
