दैत्याः संमोहिता देवैर्विष्णुना च महात्मना । हतावशिष्टाः पातालं विविशुर्विवराणि च

daityāḥ saṃmohitā devairviṣṇunā ca mahātmanā | hatāvaśiṣṭāḥ pātālaṃ viviśurvivarāṇi ca

ദേവന്മാരാലും മഹാത്മാവായ വിഷ്ണുവാലും മോഹിതരായ ദൈത്യർ ഭ്രമിച്ചു. വധത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ശേഷിച്ചവർ പാതാളത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്ന് ഭൂഗർഭ വിള്ളലുകളിലും മറഞ്ഞ ഗുഹകളിലും ഒളിച്ചു.
