य इदं शृणुयाद्भक्त्या दुर्वासश्चरितम्मुदा । श्रावयेद्वा परां यश्च स सुखीह परत्र च
ya idaṃ śṛṇuyādbhaktyā durvāsaścaritammudā | śrāvayedvā parāṃ yaśca sa sukhīha paratra ca
ഭക്തിയോടും ആനന്ദത്തോടും കൂടി ഈ ദുർവാസ ചരിതം കേൾക്കുന്നവനും, മറ്റുള്ളവരെ കേൾപ്പിക്കുന്നവനും—ഇഹലോകത്തും പരലോകത്തും സുഖിയായിരിക്കും.
