दिव्यरथारोहणम् — Śiva’s Ascent on the Divine Chariot

Pre-battle Portents

समावृत्य महादेवं तदापुस्ते पिनाकिनम् । दग्धुं समर्था मनसा क्षणेन सचराचरम्

samāvṛtya mahādevaṃ tadāpuste pinākinam | dagdhuṃ samarthā manasā kṣaṇena sacarācaram

അപ്പോൾ അവർ പിനാകധാരിയായ മഹാദേവനെ ചുറ്റിവളഞ്ഞ് അടുത്തെത്തി. അവർ അത്ര ശക്തിമാന്മാരായതിനാൽ മനസ്സിന്റെ സംकल्पമാത്രം കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ഒരു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ചരാചരമായ സമസ്ത ലോകത്തെയും ദഹിപ്പാൻ കഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.
