देवस्तुतिवर्णनम् (Deva-stuti-varṇana) — “Description of the Gods’ Hymn/Praise”
मुहुः शिवेति भाषंतो देवा धैर्यसमन्विताः । कोटिसंख्यं तदा कृत्वा स्थितास्ते मुनिसत्तम
muhuḥ śiveti bhāṣaṃto devā dhairyasamanvitāḥ | koṭisaṃkhyaṃ tadā kṛtvā sthitāste munisattama
ഹേ മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ധൈര്യസമ്പന്നരായ ദേവന്മാർ ആവർത്തിച്ച് “ശിവ! ശിവ!” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു; പിന്നെ കോടിസംഖ്യയായ സൈന്യമായി ഒരുമിച്ച് ഉറച്ചുനിന്നു।
