शिवस्तुतिवर्णनम् (Śiva-stuti-varṇanam) — “Description of Hymns in Praise of Śiva”
parantu te mahādaityā madbhaktā dṛḍhamānasāḥ | atha vadhyā mayaiva syurvyājatyaktavṛṣottamāḥ
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Tripurāntaka
Role: liberating
The verse teaches that bhakti is powerful, yet devotion must be aligned with dharma; when devotees fall into adharma, Shiva may correct them through divine chastisement that ultimately serves purification and grace (anugraha).
It emphasizes Saguna Shiva as the personal Lord who actively governs the moral order—protecting dharma and guiding even devotees back to the right path, which is the same Lord worshipped in the Linga as the compassionate ruler (Pati) of all beings.
Maintain disciplined bhakti—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha—while guarding conduct (ācāra) so devotion does not become a cover (vyāja) for adharma.
