प्रद्युम्नो युयुधानश्च गतस्सांबोथ सारणः । नंदोपनंदभद्राद्या रामकृष्णानुवर्तिनः

പ്രദ്യുമ്നനും യുയുധാനനും പുറപ്പെട്ടു; സാംബനും സാരണനും കൂടി പോയി. നന്ദൻ, ഉപനന്ദൻ, ഭദ്രൻ മുതലായ രാമകൃഷ്ണാനുചരരും കൂടെ പ്രസ്ഥാനം ചെയ്തു।

It highlights disciplined participation in dharma-yuddha—steadfast, orderly action by devoted allies—reflecting the Shaiva ideal that worldly action becomes purifying when aligned with righteousness and remembrance of the Supreme (Pati).
Though narrating a battle-march, it mirrors Saguna devotion: just as attendants follow Rāma-Kṛṣṇa with loyalty, the devotee is to follow Lord Shiva’s command through worship—Linga-pūjā, reverence, and surrender—transforming action into devotion.
A practical takeaway is to enter any duty after centering the mind with Shiva-smaraṇa—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and, if one follows Shaiva rites, applying Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as a reminder of vairāgya and protection.
