शिवदूतेन युद्धनिश्चयः तथा देवदानवयुद्धारम्भः (Śiva’s Envoy and the Commencement of the Deva–Dānava War)
देवदानवयोर्युद्धं स्परमभून्मुने । धर्मतो युयुधे तत्र देवदानवयोर्गणः
devadānavayoryuddhaṃ sparamabhūnmune | dharmato yuyudhe tatra devadānavayorgaṇaḥ
ഹേ മുനേ, ദേവന്മാരും ദാനവന്മാരും തമ്മിൽ ഭീകര യുദ്ധം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു. എങ്കിലും അവിടെ ഇരുപക്ഷങ്ങളുടെയും ഗണങ്ങൾ ധർമ്മാനുസാരമായി, മര്യാദ പാലിച്ച് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു.

It teaches that even intense conflict should be governed by dharma—self-restraint, right conduct, and accountability—so the soul is not further bound by pāśa (bondage) created through adharmic action.
