Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It presents Shiva as Pati—the sovereign Lord who dispels fear and guarantees that even turbulent events (like conflict involving Śaṅkhacūḍa) ultimately serve dharma and auspiciousness under His governance.
The verse highlights Saguna Shiva as the compassionate, speaking Lord who grants assurance (abhaya). Linga-worship similarly trains the devotee to rest the mind in Shiva’s steady presence, replacing anxiety with trust in His ordering of karma and grace.
Practice “abhaya-bhāvanā” by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and calm breath, contemplating Shiva’s command to abandon fear and remain established in His protection.
