त्रिपुरवर्णनम् (Tripura-varṇanam) — “Description of Tripura”

दैत्या ऊचुः । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश यदि देयो वरस्त्वया । अवध्यत्वं च सर्वेषां सर्वभूतेषु देहिनः

daityā ūcuḥ | yadi prasanno deveśa yadi deyo varastvayā | avadhyatvaṃ ca sarveṣāṃ sarvabhūteṣu dehinaḥ

ദൈത്യർ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദേവേശാ! നിങ്ങൾ പ്രസന്നനായി വരം നൽകുമെങ്കിൽ, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് അവധ്യത്വം നൽകണമേ—സകലഭൂതങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള സകല ദേഹധാരികളിൽ ആരും ഞങ്ങളെ വധിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
