It highlights satata-bhakti—steady, repeated remembrance and address to the Divine—showing that sincere devotion and recognition of the Lord’s unborn, all-pervading nature is spiritually transformative, even within Shaiva narrative settings.
Though Viṣṇu is addressed here, the Shiva Purana frequently teaches reverence to the Supreme through accessible forms (saguṇa upāsanā). In Shaiva Siddhānta terms, devotion to a manifest Lord supports purification and prepares the seeker for Pati (Shiva) realization—Linga-worship being a principal Shaiva form of that saguṇa approach.
The key takeaway is satataṃ-japa and remembrance: maintain continuous prayerful address to the Lord. Practically, this aligns with daily mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) alongside simple purity observances like bhasma-dhāraṇa and focused meditation.
