कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
क्रत्वादीनां चतुर्णां च बीजं भूमौ पपात च । तेभ्यः पितृगणा जाता अपरे मुनिसत्तम
kratvādīnāṃ caturṇāṃ ca bījaṃ bhūmau papāta ca | tebhyaḥ pitṛgaṇā jātā apare munisattama
ക്രത്വാദി നാലുപേരുടെ ബീജം ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു. അതിൽ നിന്ന്, ഹേ മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, പിതൃഗണങ്ങളുടെ മറ്റൊരു കൂട്ടങ്ങൾ ജനിച്ചു.

It links cosmic generation to the Pitṛs, showing that ancestral beings are part of the divinely ordered creation; honoring them supports dharma and harmonizes one’s obligations while progressing toward Shiva-oriented liberation.
In Shaiva practice, duties like honoring Pitṛs are integrated with Saguna Shiva worship: offerings and rites are ultimately dedicated to Shiva as the inner Lord (Pati), so worldly obligations become purified and oriented toward moksha.
It implies reverence to Pitṛs through śrāddha/tarpaṇa with a Shiva-centered intent—mentally offering the fruits to Lord Shiva, and supporting the practice with japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) for inner purification.
