It highlights the dharmic principle of reverence: even the highest beings—devas, sages, and siddhas—honor divine authority and cosmic order, modeling humility that supports devotion and inner purification.
In the Shaiva narrative frame, honoring Hari and other deities is aligned with honoring Śiva’s cosmic governance; Saguna worship trains the mind in devotion and surrender, which ultimately matures toward realization of the Supreme (Pati) beyond limited ego.
Adopt a daily practice of vandana (reverential salutations) with mantra-japa—especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—cultivating humility and steadiness before beginning pūjā or meditation.
