भक्तहेतोरहं देवि कालं क्रोधपरिप्लुतः । अदहं वह्निना नेत्रभवेन निजरक्षकः
bhaktahetorahaṃ devi kālaṃ krodhapariplutaḥ | adahaṃ vahninā netrabhavena nijarakṣakaḥ
ഹേ ദേവി! ഭക്തന്റെ കാരണത്താൽ ഞാൻ ക്രോധത്തിൽ പരിപ്ലുതനായി, എന്റെ കണ്ണിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന അഗ്നിയാൽ കാലനെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ എന്റെ രക്ഷകനായി നിന്നു.
