This is the colophon marking the completion of a chapter; spiritually, it emphasizes śravaṇa (hearing) and smaraṇa (remembrance) of Śiva–Satī līlā as a devotional means to purify the mind and orient the soul (paśu) toward the Lord (Pati).
By naming the chapter on Śiva–Satī’s vihāra, it frames Śiva in His accessible saguna dimension—known through narratives and devotion—supporting personal worship (including Liṅga-upāsanā) grounded in love and reverence.
The implied practice is regular pāraṇa/adhyāya-pāṭha (recitation and study) of the Śiva Purāṇa with bhakti; one may conclude reading with mental salutation to Śiva (e.g., remembrance of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”).
