शिवानुकम्पा, ब्रह्मणो निर्भयत्वं च (Śiva’s Compassion and Brahmā’s Fearlessness)
khyātiṃ yāsyasi sarvatra nāmnā rudraśiraḥ kṣitau | sādhakaḥ sarvakṛtyānāṃ tejobhājāṃ dvijanmanām
Lord Shiva (as a boon-giver within the Sati Khanda narrative, conveyed by Suta Goswami in the Purana’s frame)
Tattva Level: anugraha
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: nurturing
The verse emphasizes Shiva’s grace as the source of “khyāti” (true renown) and “siddhi” (accomplishment): a devotee becomes effective in dharmic action not by ego, but by alignment with Rudra’s will and blessing.
By naming the devotee “Rudraśiras,” the text highlights Saguna Shiva’s personal bestowal of identity and purpose—devotional worship of Shiva (often through the Linga) culminates in Shiva granting capacity to complete rites and uphold dharma.
The takeaway is steady Shiva-upāsanā that supports dharma—regular japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined observance of Śaiva conduct (purity, vrata, and rite-completion) so one becomes a true “sādhaka” by Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
