Puruṣa (a being addressing Brahmā)
Tattva Level: pashu
It emphasizes alignment of karma with divine ordinance: the individual seeks rightful engagement under cosmic order (vidhi), showing humility and readiness to serve dharma rather than ego-driven action.
Though Shiva is not named here, the Shiva Purana’s Shaiva frame treats all ordered creation and rightful duty as ultimately upheld by Pati (Śiva). Properly directed action becomes supportive of Saguna worship—service, reverence, and disciplined conduct that purifies the devotee for Shiva-realization.
The takeaway is disciplined karma offered with humility (īśvara-arpita-bhāva). Practically, one may pair daily duties with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and a brief sankalpa to perform actions in accordance with divine order.
