विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्

अनेनैव सती कन्या दक्षस्य च शिवा विभो । सदुपायेन वै भार्या भवदर्थे प्रकल्पिता

anenaiva satī kanyā dakṣasya ca śivā vibho | sadupāyena vai bhāryā bhavadarthe prakalpitā

ഹേ വിഭോ, ഇതേ ഉപായത്താൽ ദക്ഷന്റെ ശിവാ പുത്രിയായ സതിയെ യുക്തമായ പദ്ധതിയിലൂടെ നിന്റെ ദിവ്യപ്രയോജനാർത്ഥം നിന്റെ ഭാര്യയാകുവാൻ സമ്യകമായി നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
