विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्

Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection

दक्षो मैवं मैवमिति पाणिमुद्यम्य शंकितः । वारयामास भूतेशं क्षिप्रमेत्य पुरोगतः

dakṣo maivaṃ maivamiti pāṇimudyamya śaṃkitaḥ | vārayāmāsa bhūteśaṃ kṣiprametya purogataḥ

ഭീതനായ ദക്ഷൻ വേഗത്തിൽ മുന്നോട്ട് ചെന്നു ഭൂതേശൻ (ഭഗവാൻ ശിവൻ) മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു. കൈ ഉയർത്തി—“ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യരുത്, ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യരുത്” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ തടയാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.
