सतीचरिते पितृगृहे आशीर्वाद-वचनम् तथा यौवनारम्भः — Satī at her father’s house: blessings and the onset of youth

यो नान्यां जगृहे नापि गृह्णाति न ग्रहीष्यति । जायां स ते पतिर्भूयादनन्यसदृशश्शुभे

yo nānyāṃ jagṛhe nāpi gṛhṇāti na grahīṣyati | jāyāṃ sa te patirbhūyādananyasadṛśaśśubhe

Translation

ഹേ ശുഭേ, മറ്റൊരു സ്ത്രീയെ ഒരിക്കലും സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തവനും, ഇപ്പോൾ സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തവനും, ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും സ്വീകരിക്കാത്തവനും—അവൻ തന്നെയാകട്ടെ നിന്റെ ഭർത്താവ്; നീ അവന്റെ ഏകമാത്ര, അനുപമ ഭാര്യയായിരിക്കട്ടെ.
