सतीचरिते पितृगृहे आशीर्वाद-वचनम् तथा यौवनारम्भः — Satī at her father’s house: blessings and the onset of youth
ततस्सती महेशानं पतिं प्राप्तुं दृढव्रता । सा तमाराधयामास गृहे मातुरनुज्ञया
tatassatī maheśānaṃ patiṃ prāptuṃ dṛḍhavratā | sā tamārādhayāmāsa gṛhe māturanujñayā
അതിനുശേഷം സതി മഹേശാനെ ഭർത്താവായി പ്രാപിക്കാനുള്ള ദൃഢവ്രതം എടുത്തു; മാതാവിന്റെ അനുവാദത്തോടെ മാതൃഗൃഹത്തിൽ തന്നേ അവനെ ഭക്തിയോടെ ആരാധിച്ചു.
