Sati (Śivā/Parameśvarī)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
It highlights how ego-born delusion (moha) blinds even Dakṣa, and that liberation begins by hearing and accepting the singular truth of Śiva as the Supreme (Pati), as affirmed by Satī.
Satī’s “no other counsel” points to exclusive Śiva-bhakti: whether approached as the Liṅga (iconic, worshipable form) or as Saguna Śiva with attributes, the devotee is directed to one steadfast refuge rather than competing deities or prideful ritualism.
The immediate takeaway is śravaṇa and niṣṭhā (devout steadiness): listen to Śiva-tattva teachings and anchor the mind in japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to cut through moha.
