Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: liberating
It highlights Śiva (Pati) as the independent Lord (Prabhu) who, by his own will, moves toward beings—signifying grace initiating the soul’s uplift, a key Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis.
Śaṅkara/Śambhu is presented as the approachable, personal (saguṇa) Lord who enters the realm of people; Linga-worship similarly honors the Lord’s accessible presence and compassionate nearness to devotees.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate readiness for grace through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and mindful remembrance that Śambhu himself turns toward the devotee.
