कामभस्म-प्रार्थना: रत्याः शङ्करं प्रति विनयः / Rati’s Supplication to Śaṅkara regarding Kāma’s Ashes
देव्य ऊचुः । भक्तवत्सलनामा त्वं दीनबन्धुर्दयानिधिः । काम जीवय सोत्साहां रति कुरु नमोऽस्तु ते
devya ūcuḥ | bhaktavatsalanāmā tvaṃ dīnabandhurdayānidhiḥ | kāma jīvaya sotsāhāṃ rati kuru namo'stu te
ദേവിമാർ പറഞ്ഞു—നീ ഭക്തവത്സലനെന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധൻ, ദീനരുടെ ബന്ധു, ദയാനിധി. കാമനെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കുകയും രതിക്ക് ഉത്സാഹാനന്ദം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യണമേ; നിനക്കു നമസ്കാരം।
