It presents Śiva as the perfect exemplar of dharma: even the Supreme Pati honors Śivā (Śakti) with reverent worship, teaching that devotion must be grounded in right conduct and humility.
By highlighting Śambhu’s visible, relational worship of Śivā, the verse supports saguna-upāsanā—devotion through form and ritual—showing that embodied worship and proper ācāra are valid means for purification and grace.
It implies disciplined worship aligned with ācāra: respectful pūjā with purity and restraint, and steady bhakti—often expressed in Shaiva practice through mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) alongside ethical living.
