मेनायाः क्रोध-विलापः — Menā’s Lament and Reproach
to the Sage
शिवत्वं न च जानासि निर्गुणस्य गुणस्स हि । विरूपस्स सुरूपो हि सर्वसेव्यस्सतां गतिः
śivatvaṃ na ca jānāsi nirguṇasya guṇassa hi | virūpassa surūpo hi sarvasevyassatāṃ gatiḥ
നീ ശിവത്വം യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ അറിയുന്നില്ല. അവൻ നിർഗുണനായിട്ടും സകല ഗുണങ്ങളുടെയും അധിഷ്ഠാനമാണ്. ലോകദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ വിരൂപനായി തോന്നിയാലും തത്ത്വത്തിൽ അവൻ പരമ സരൂപൻ. അവൻ സർവ്വസേവ്യൻ; സത്പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ പരമഗതിയും അവൻ തന്നേ.

It teaches that Shiva transcends all limiting qualities (nirguṇa) yet is the source and support of every auspicious attribute, making Him the ultimate refuge (gati) sought by the righteous for liberation.
