Nārada’s Arrival at Himālaya’s Palace and the Description of Viśvakarman’s Marvels
kintu hyamaramohārthaṃ māyā viracitādbhutā | kutūhalārthaṃ sarvajña na kaścidvighnasambhavaḥ
Parvati
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches that māyā can delude even the devas, yet Shiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) is never truly obstructed; obstacles belong to the realm of appearance, while liberation comes through recognizing Shiva’s transcendence and taking refuge in Him.
Linga/Saguna worship gives the mind a pure support to cross māyā: by devotion and steady contemplation of Shiva’s form and presence, the seeker is not shaken by apparent ‘vighnas’ and gradually realizes Shiva as the unobstructed, all-knowing Reality.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with bhakti and steadiness, viewing obstacles as māyā’s play and renewing surrender to Shiva rather than reacting with fear or doubt.
