Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
Cosmic Event: Devas seek restoration of cosmic order through Śakti’s avatāra and Śiva-śakti re-union
It frames Pārvatī’s incarnation as a deliberate līlā that restores dharma and supports the devas, highlighting the Shaiva Siddhānta vision of Śiva–Śakti working for cosmic order and devotees’ welfare.
By emphasizing Pārvatī becoming ‘Rudra’s consort’ again, it points to Saguna worship—Śiva approachable through form and relationship—often centered on the Śiva-liṅga with Śakti as inseparable presence in devotion and ritual.
A practical takeaway is Śiva–Śakti bhakti: japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with reverence to the Divine Mother, alongside simple Śiva-pūjā (liṅga abhiṣeka, vibhūti/tripuṇḍra) to align one’s life with ‘yathāyogya’ dharma.
