Lord Shiva (Śambhu)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: teaching
It shows Shiva’s grace: though supremely transcendent, he adopts a “worldly” mode as divine līlā to guide devotees and sages gently through auspicious instruction.
“Displaying a worldly manner” points to Saguna Shiva—Shiva accessible through form, speech, and narrative. Linga-worship likewise approaches the formless (nirguna) through a sanctified, worshipable presence.
The takeaway is śubha-vāk (auspicious speech) and bhakti-oriented listening (śravaṇa). Practically, recite the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with reverence and maintain pure, benevolent speech as part of daily Shiva-sādhanā.
